I'm a plant ecologist in the Laughlin lab at the University of Wyoming. I study the processes that drive plant community composition and diversity from local to global scales. I'm especially interested in establishing links between plant functional traits and community assembly and coexistence mechanisms. My work integrates community, population, and functional ecology and uses observational studies, experiments, and statistical models to test ecological theory and predict community responses to changing environments.
